The 拉丁 American Culture 博天堂官方网站 specialization offers an interdisciplinary planned curriculum of studies on 拉丁 America through the following courses:

• 西班牙语 Composition and Conversation (3)
• Foundations in Hispanic Lit. (3)
• Foundations in Hispanic Civ. (3)
• 拉丁 American Culture 博天堂官方网站 Seminar (3)
• Modern 拉丁 America (3)
• Governments and Politics of 拉丁 America (3)
• 12 additional elective hours of courses in 历史, 地理位置 and 西班牙语-6 must be at the 4000 level

学生 choosing the 拉丁 American Culture 博天堂官方网站 specialization must fulfill the 西班牙语 language requirement by completing 西班牙语 at the 3510 level or demonstrate competency in the 西班牙语 language, e.g. by completing intensive 西班牙语 language and culture courses through the summer abroad program in Mexico.
