搜索 is a dynamic learning community designed to be a 家外之家 为 undergraduate students from all majors, backgrounds and beliefs who are interested in the exploration of big questions, 领导力发展, social justice and close friendships. This one-of-a-kind 搜索 experience will include participation in optional extracurricular activities, weekly discussions and energizing mentoring relationships as part of their overall educational experience at BGSU.

搜索社区
住宅需求 | 学生 who are members of the 搜索学习社区 are 不 required to live within the community but it is an added benefit to the program. If you choose to live in the community, you can choose to room with someone who is in 搜索 -or- you can choose a roommate who is 不 一个成员.
关于社区 | 搜索学习社区 students live in a diverse population in 麦当劳大厅 along with other highly ambitious and motivated students who are members of other 学习社区. 学生工作, live and hangout together to ease the transition to college life, while supporting each other throughout the 搜索 program.
麦当劳大厅 | Centrally located and steps away from the Bowen-Thompson学生会 and the Jerome Library, 麦当劳大厅 is a traditional residence hall and houses classrooms and faculty/staff offices. Amenities include an art studio, 音乐教室, 博天堂官方网站区域, 计算机实验室, laundry on each floor and a full community kitchen.

Each community has a set of residence hall rooms specifically designated 为 them. To sign up 为 one of these rooms, 你必须申请, and be accepted into the community, 4月25日之前, 2018. To ensure your chance to live in the community, please complete the following steps:

| 步骤3 | 点击 Add a New Community Enrollment Request and choose your desired community and academic year/term |

If you have applied 为 两个 and change your mind, go into the system and withdraw yourself from the one(s) you are no longer interested in. This will open up a space 为 you again. |
After you have submitted your request to join a community, you will receive an email from the community director approving your request. When it’s time 为 you to select your room in the next phase, you will be able to view and select rooms within the designated community space in the community’s residence hall. 例如, if you choose to join the 查普曼学习社区, you will select a room in Kohl Hall.
